WHY SHOULD MYOPIA BE CONTROLLED?
Increase in myopia increases the Risk of few vision threatening eye problems. the table below will clearly explian the associated risks with Increase in myopia and hence Management of Myopia becomes very important.
There are different methods to manage myopia out of which Orthokeratology proves to be the most successful and safe method and in addition it also provides clear vision without any aid during waking hours and the child can even water sport.
Myopia Management will be more fruitful if started early. Orthokertology can be started as soon as 5years of age or even before. Talk to your consultant to know better.
